OMG the missus now looks like miss world. I first visited WA 12 years ago and cider was virtually unknown. No pubs sold it. It was a huge surprise to me given the lovely sunshine pretty much all year round. 4 years later when I returned to WA I went with my brother in law to a riverside pub just outside Fremantle. He got the first round and put a pint of what looked like the usual Aussie lager in front of me. I took a sip and it was cider, Thatchers Gold which they had on tap. What a delightful surprise! To travel half way across the world and be able to buy decent cider just 4 years later was quite shock!

It is usually about $12 ozzie dollars a pint

Red-Robbo
At my local, Pilton Cider's Murmuration is challenging the fizzy Thatcher's stuff as most requested. Medium-sweet, it has an appley taste which somehow you do not get in all ciders. https://piltoncider.co.uk/draft
