Really is.  Over winter ended up there one evening on the thatchers dry, fire burning away, ham rolls and scotch eggs for about £1. Proper pub.

I’d be asleep in about half an hour , beer , nice warm fire and a bit of food ??

@Kingswood Village so what do you think?

Robins or not or still sifting through the replies. Some are relevant to your question.

We went tobacco factory prior to the game and robins after. No grief anywhere for the Burnley boys amongst our group and they were very complimentary about our fans/ground/hospitality. A good day ??

thanks all for the replies

I was in there saturday with two burnley fans wearing their colours. On the basis last game sun shining and party atmosphere I reckoned it would be ok and it was. A lot of burnley outside. Spoken to by the police but once they realised we were mixed fans they were ok. On another day where the game really mattered why take the risk.

From a Burnley fan btl on The Observer website:

Very classy from Bristol City fans today. Friendly before the game and applauded The Clarets onto the pitch. Some lovely comments to Josh Brownhill post game as well. A really good club. Would be great to see them have some success next season.
