Can see us getting over 24 k for the first game of the season against Preston.. Can’t wait!

Yeah Preston will bring 2-3k I reckon.

I remember when we played at Preston first game of the season under GJ and we bottled a 2 - 0 lead. From memory it was David Clarkson and Danny Haynes who scored. Big fat Parkin came on and changed the game.

I wonder what excuse they'll use to change it when you get a surprise team have a great run?
That said, the Sky TV Fixtures and Leeds fixtures are the same anyway, probably why Sky agreed.

FA cup final on my birthday, for first time in about 40 years- it’s an omen, I tell e.

It’s going to test our squad depth if we’re also in the Championship Play Off Final. It’s the day after the FA Cup Final!

And Johnson took Paul Hartley and Maynard off...

Thoughts from an optimist:

  • Start gives us a good opportunity to gain that much sought after thing in football, momentum.
  • No long runs where you might wonder where a win is coming from
  • If we are in the mix at the half way stage, we will have already got the away games at the relegated Prem clubs out of the way.

For those who fancy a short break up North; October away to Rotherham on a Wednesday and Leeds on the Saturday. Then in December; Huddersfeld on a Saturday and Blackburn on the Tuesday.

Am I right in thinking that televised games between start of season and Christmas are being announced prior to the season starting? If this is correct , does anybody know the date this has to be confirmed by?

First batch of game announced this morning, we're not selected
