Such a sad day in the football world today, another one gone, and young at only 49

So young and so sad. Played for Sheffield Wednesday and Forest and also for England when he was a youngster.

Suspect Nige’s time at Wednesday cut across Bart-Williams too.

Crap day for football.

RIP Chris….a must sign in old Football Manager days.

Thats one of the things that crossed my mind after hearing. Can’t remember watching too much of him in real life, but always used to sign him. RIP Chris.

Pearson and Bart-Williams were definitely there together. Wednesday were my favourite top flight team when I was a kid (I think I just liked the unusual name). Pearson and Bart-Williams were both part of the first team at the time.

Really shocked by this - obviously footballers I watched growing up have died before but I remember Bart-Williams as a promising young talent at the start of his career and it is a real gut punch to learn he has passed away.
