Anyone know if the Lower Lansdown is wholly undercover or am I going to get drenched tomorrow?

Depends what row you are in - and indeed how windy it is.

It isn't fully covered, so the first few rows will get damp, and then depending on how strong and the direction of the wind, rows back accordingly.

Looking at both Meteo and the Met Office it’s going to be windy, and the strongest winds from about 3pm! The heaviest/most persistent rain looks to be over by then though. So who knows!

Well, I must say I am quite disappointed.

Having seen our apparently soon to be erstwhile star midfielder referred to variously as Axel and Andy on his own transfer thread, I thought you were doing the same and confirming he would be playing tomorrow, thus putting a lot of us at ease.

I'm delighted to see one of those topics that drives me mad making an appearance so early in the season

I guess at least nobody has mentioned potential postponements etc

Ha ha! You have to admit it makes a change to be about wind and rain for the opening game though! More often than not it’s one of the hottest days of the year and we’re talking about getting hosed down at Gillingham!

Can't be true

Thought the world was burning away according to the bbc

Assuming I'm missing a joke here. But just to be clear Climate change causes erratic weather changes, including storms. It affects the intensity and frequency of precipitation. Warmer oceans increase the amount of water that evaporates into the air. When more moisture-laden air moves over land or converges into a storm system, it can produce more intense precipitation—for example, heavier rain.

I'm in row 19 too and I  have been know to get a little "moist" at times.?

you will get wet down there, Tip: don't tell ANYONE, but if it gets wet sneak out and up to one of the covered stands where you will find loads of empty seats of season ticket holders who only go to a few games or are away on holiday...

Depending on which way the wind is blowing you can get a bit of a splash if towards the stand's first 10 rows or so. The forecast is NW winds at KO so you should be fine.
