Sarumred
I had many of those autographs in an autograph book back in the day but sadly lost after several house moves.
marmite
I recall seeing so many of them playing when my dad first took me 70 years ago. 2
22A
I can clearly read Jack White, Bob Anderson, Dave Smith Jim Reagan, Jack Bailey, Cyril Williams and Mike Thresher. Why are today's autographs just a scribble and squiggle?

The season following this mass signing (54-55) they won promotion as Champions.

cidered abroad
Where is Atyeo's signature? I have an autograph book with the 1955 promotion team with one exception - Arthur Milton.

The David Smith was a left footed left winger, who was also a very good left arm fast bowler for Glos CCC in 1950/60's and who played in five Test matches for England. @richwwtk Edited December 8, 2023 by cidered abroad

I have a copy of the great man’s testimonial brochure signed in my presence and the autograph is quite different from the one on that sheet, probably had a sore pen finger when he signed mine as there was a large queue of us waiting for his autograph. I have a book in the loft (Bristol City: The Complete History of the Club) by Peter Godsiff, and Arthur Milton has signed his picture in the book. My Dad worked with him as a postman in the early eighties.
Flamin Groovy
My own version, not quite the same vintage though. Remember posting this piece of paper to the club and being chuffed to bits on its return. The makings of our great promotion side all here……reckon 73ish.
