Getting out on the grass and empowering the people you already have by getting them in touch with their emotions (passion and desire mainly). By all means, start executing on your big plans around infrastructure. But on the football side, the emphasis should be as much on what you remove as what you add. Eliminate all the headaches that have plagued previous managers and see what the baseline is. Find out what the Birmingham you inherited was capable of when managed properly. Are we just..not that average is terrible as much, more like middling but anyway. They seem oblivious to FFP as well some if them, I'll moan about that on another thread. Two averageish sides or?
