Looks like flying to Middlesbrough game, is now out of the question.

Recommended Posts

Easy jet have pushed there Bristol to Newcastle flight on Saturday mornings out to 12:35pm arriving at 13:40pm.

It would then be a fifty mile dash to get there for 3pm.

So it looks like a overnight stay in Middlesbrough on Saturday night.

Not keen on going up and back in one day which will include coming back via London

Hoping it will be worth it after putting in all that effort to get there, and back.

I checked a week or so ago and there is a flight to and from Exeter with Loganair. However, it was nearly £300 return each. As much as I love an aaway jolly. That ain't happening!!

Thanks for the head up,you can get back to London as the services are going into St Pancras or Kings Cross.

Kings Cross includes a rail replacement coach from Grantham to Bedford so 3 trains and a bus in total from Middlesbro.

St. Pancras would mean several changes to route via Sheffield. Both are 4-5 hours rather than around 3 on a good day.

London to Manchester, Manchester to Middlesbrough on two separate tickets works that day. It’s a long time on trains, with an early start and a late return to Euston, but it’s doable.

I dont know if its possible but can you not fly to Leeds? Its only an hours drive to Boro from the airport, a cheap people carrier uber with a few of you wont cost much.

Wouldn't it be easier, and cheaper, to go on a City coach from Ashton Gate????

🤔
