Admin phantom Posted March 8 Admin Report Share Posted March 8 I know many people don't read our official website so some people may have missed this announcement Those who have been around dementia sufferers will know what a horrible and debilitating illness it can be Robins Foundation is delighted to announce Robins Memories, a new project aimed at dementia and isolation. Starting Wednesday, March 20th, at Ashton Gate, the sessions will help tackle dementia and loneliness, bringing together those who suffer from dementia to recount Bristol City memories via stories and memorabilia. Research shows there are more than 944,000 people in the UK who have dementia, it can affect all aspects of a person’s life, as well as those around them. There is no cure for dementia yet, but by keeping in touch with people and engaging in social activities can support the mental wellbeing of individuals living with dementia.
