Admin phantom Posted March 18 Admin Report Share Posted March 18 Initially I feared the worst that we were being referred to as "Bristol" again The Manchester United stadium announcer continually called us Bristol earlier so I guess I was surprised to see it was actually a reference to Nascar Does anyone wafch Nascar? Erithacus Posted March 18 Report Share Posted March 18 Aren't there loads of Bristols in America? Plenty of opportunity for some ambiguity - talk of a bad crash might well apply to AG8. Nascar's got a rich sense of history and heritage, especially in the Southern states, and is its own world in motorsport. Some of the tales of the old days are as hilarious as they are outrageous.
