CyderInACan
Didn’t they say that was a record home Premiership win for us. I know we had a bit of help but that was a performance.

Can’t see how a defensive punch, after being attacked, is the same as 3 punches (2 to the head whilst the other player is lying defenceless on the floor) on top of telling the referee to **** off. Bizarre decision Strange that they both got the same. Piatau absolutely deserved his 3 weeks but in my view Kitchener should have been given 6-8.

elhombrecito
Did anybody else have to apply for a refund for match tickets? I asked for a refund for Saracens tickets well over a month ago and have heard absolutely nothing since
cidercity1987
I assume every team 6th downwards have absolutely sacked off this season to prepare for next? Top 5 breaking away, annoying that Wasps and Bath keep winning too

Northern Red
My fear is that he rests a load this weekend as he did at Sale, and we get a similar performance.

Read that playing for 80 minutes for the forwards is like being in two car crashes for body impact. The players will need to rest otherwise physically they will fall apart
Paul G
As qualification for Europe is guaranteed now, I think Pat will aim for the Challenge Cup and hopefully grab a top 4 place. Bath, Wasps and Sale only have the premiership to aim for so its going to be a tough ask for our squad to compete on two fronts.

Winning the Challenge Cup was definitely the priority, it's plastered all over the inside of the new training ground. They won't want to blow the league either though with a top 4 finish in touching distance. Got to fight on both fronts and hope for the best. Like you say, at least Champions Cup rugby is guaranteed for next season and that was the ultimate aim, either by winning the Challenge Cup or a top 6 finish.

JBFC II
4 hours ago, frenchred said: perhaps that world class coach ain’t all he’s cracked up to be How pat lam has transformed Bristol is nothing short of remarkable. Many fans remember days of battling it out with the likes of Jersey and Doncaster to reach another championship play off final (only to lose), now however so much is different. Today's result, in the grand scheme of things isn't that bad. Let's not forget a first choice Bristol side lost 70-22 at an arguably worse wasps 4 years ago, this time a bunch of youngsters and 'reserve' players only lost by 24 points, that just highlights the improvements that have been made. Yes, conceding 59 points is disappointing, but having been 26-0 down by 20 minutes, to go and win the next 60 shows incredible character and spirit, and for a bunch of mainly 18-24 year olds that's encouraging. The play offs are still all to play for, we'll have to feel confident of 10 points from the last two, which puts a lot of pressure on the teams above us. Totally understand the frustration at the result, but to claim pat lam, after all he's done for the club, is 'not all he's cracked up to be' is poor form imo

It's physically impossible to get a top performance out of any player if they are playing back to back games
