Tim S
After tonight's result, City are mathematically safe from relegation (Not that it was ever in doubt!).

Northern Red
At the end of the season we'll be able to work out when we actually achieved safety- i.e. when we reached one point more than the team in 22nd ends up with.

Malago
And it’s mathematically impossible for the gas to get promoted. Mind the Gap.

Probably Swansea (47 points) but maybe Leicester (50).

And for many that is much more important than Going Up - long debate worth another thread. Bet Blackburn, Brum, Stoke, Plymouth and dozens of other teams around the country would love that T shirt
samo II
Despite this could have a big say in the outcome of the relegation scrap due to our games against Huddersfield and Stoke. If (big if) we can manage to take the nine points from those two plus Rotherham we’d have a healthy non-playoff total; add in a win against Norwich (an ask) and we’d have our second best points total since returning to the championship.
