Ivorguy
A season or so back Otib was aflame with views saying referees were not giving City penalties, and some hinted at dark acts. This season, to date, only Leicester have had more penalties than us. Given the dubious nature of Saturday’s penalty I am deafened by the silence
ExiledAjax
It's because Liam Manning, Howard Webb, and Nigel Pearson are actual involved in a bitter and twisted love triangle involving a piece of Mendip woodland, David Moyes' holiday home in San Sebastian, and Mark Clattenburg's box at the Gladiators filming set. It's messy, and I've already said too much really, but the long and the short of it is Pearson doesn't get penalties and Manning gets them like confetti. 8
GrahamC
It wasn’t dubious. I do wonder though whether Nige (who I liked a lot) was someone many referees took against, as the number of clear cut ones we were denied in his time in charge was incredible. 2
Sir Geoff
Add that to the never before used words on OTIB. May never be seen again. Well done Ivorguy.

Given the dubious nature of Saturday’s penalty I am deafened by the silence Perhaps it’s down to Manning This site (if correct) says Leeds have had more than us (quelle surprise) - 8 v our 6 - but they missed 2. Have Leicester really had 12?! Championship - Penalties received | Transfermarkt

Oh, there is. 1
BCFCGav
Pearson left, the penalties returned. Whole thing still stinks but at least we’re this side of it. 3

And Its Smith
Some thought it was a conspiracy. Obviously that was nonsense. Every fan thinks refs hate them the most. Over the last two seasons I’d imagine it is evened out
