Valenciennes have started proceedings to dismiss their defender Taylor Moore, accused of hitting a fan during a match with the reserves. Very bad news for Taylor Moore. Recruited last summer by Valenciennes, after the club was bought by the investment fund Sport Republic (which also owns 80% of Southampton and 70% of Göztepe), the Lens-trained player is no longer part of the northern squad. According to La Voix du Nord, the bottom of Ligue 2 has started a procedure to dismiss the English central defender for serious misconduct. A fan beaten up during a N3 match The former Bristol City player is accused of hitting a fan during an altercation at the training center after a National 3 match between the reserves of Valenciennes and Lille on February 18. Dismissed by the club (which could not rule on the case out of respect for the presumption of innocence and due to an ongoing legal procedure), Moore has since disappeared from any official VAFC platform, and has not appeared in Ahmed Kantari's squad.
