RoystonFoote'snephew
Wtf has the CL got to do with Play off games and this thread. Tonight's important result for us was Oxford squeaking past Peterborough to meet Bolton in the L1 play-off final. The Us defended well and we're not adverse to using the dark arts to get the job done. I expect Bolton to win at Wembley but I guess most of us would prefer Oxford as none of us has seen City play at the Kassam in the league. 1

Gazred
Joselu back on the bench at the weekend then. I can only assume they subbed Kane off for Choupo-Moting as he is good at defending his box a la Diedhiou. Subs seemed to be the trigger.
BCFC300
Mad to think that Joselu is on loan to Madrid from second division side Espanyol! Some loan spell that

Ironic that after selling Bellingham and Haaland plus Sancho that said loaned back, that Borussia Dortmund reach a CL final.

His name came up a short while back on here during a discussion about great players making great managers. His managerial career has surpassed a distinguished playing career so no doubt for me he's one of the footballing greats of all time. Strange to think his previous job was at Everton.

VAR cannot intervene once the ref has blown the whistle for offside. Perhaps he should have ignored the flag until the move was over but the assistant should never get another Champions League game. German TV analysis said he was offside anyway so the linesman got it right even if he had raised his flag when the ball went in the net. 1960maaan
So tonight , one of the best runs this season saw Doncaster, take 10 wins and a draw from their last 11 games to seal a playoff spot. Scored 28 conceded 7 . Now 2-0 up on Crewe with the home leg tonight, surely they must do it and probably play Crawley in the final (3-0 up on MK) . One interesting thing, which could have been in ex players , Adelakun has found some form , a goal involvement every 96 minutes . Might give it a watch tonight.
