Akira Posted December 9, 2003 Report Share Posted December 9, 2003 just watched them on ITV 2.their performance was really good and strong,both golas were good and the set up's were strong.one of the talking points about tonights match was the crowd.there were only 394 chelsea supports and the stadium was full,if not,almost.50 thousand turkish fans.and I'm sure you can imagine the reception they gave Chelsea.it wasn't a pleasant one.the Chelsea bench had to put umbrella's up to stop missiles hitting them! there were flares all around the stadium,smoke filling up on and around the pitch,toilet paper chucked on the pitch and players,sticks thrown on the pitch and so on.in the second half,kick off had to be delayed by 7 and a half minutes just so they could TRY and clear the pitch,they did not succeed. anyone else see this game??what did you think about it?
