Ronnie Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 If, and l know it's a big if, we had not dropped points at home to Peterbrough or Wycombe we would have been promoted automatically, and had we had a penalty win at Cardiff we would have been promoted.Did the afore mentioned results make Danny Wilson a bad manager? If one of them had gone our way HE would still be in charge in the Championship league a league above us and would not have been sacked in such haste by a knee jerk reaction of the board. Roadrunner Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 Yes i total agree, SL took to much attention to people on this forum. I dont blame Tinnion, but SL he sacked Wilson. He gave the job to Tinnon, saying we need to improve on what Danny Wilson and Frank had achieved. Take a look at the table Steve and react now.
