But 4-3-3 was meant to get us scoring more, when in fact it's working against us, giving us less width and exposing the defence. Should we give the players a chance to adapt to this system or should a system be picked AROUND the players we have in their best positions? BCFC_Dan Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 4-3-3 may not work, but the fact is that we've not actually been playing 4-3-3 in the past few games that I've seen. Against Swindon and Wycombe we were playing a sort of confused 4-4-2 with an absence of wingers, then just a disorganised mess following the substitutions.
