Scrumpymeup
Totally agree with you, everytime he comes to the crease I can't see anyone getting him out! He is exciting to watch and should go on to emulate what Ian Botham did for the sport. He is re-joining the squad in time for the game and will be playing. He is also nominated for 3 awards this year: Test Player of the Year, One Day International Player of the Year and Player of the year. Congrats Freddy and good luck to the whole England team. northeastfan
He's the man of the moment at the moment, unstopable in every department and doing a great job for England. Should be playing on Saturday, hoping his form will continue.
Ashcott Boy
He ended up winning One Day Player of the year. Rahul Dravid picked up the other two awards. I hope that he gets in the top three for Sports Personality of the Year. But sadly i doubt he will as the top two spots are already guranteed. 1st= Kely Holmes 2nd= Matthew Pinsent 3rd= Freddy Flintoff/Amir Khan/ David James

deadratinmycider
What can you say about Freddy hey. I think he could have changed the future of English Cricket. He is so exciting to watch and he is getting a whole new generation of kids interested in cricket. More children will take up cricket to be like their hero and this can only help the future of the game. Sometimes i even hope one of our batsmen will get out when Freddy is padded up and coming in next!!
Riaz
England's recent sucess will help cricket but I dont expect It'll have that much effect on its popularity - cos it'll always be boring just my opinion

I not saying everyone will suddenly like cricket but I think with people like Freddy around you will see a big difference in it's popularity. Riaz
When I watch Michael Vaughan in interviews he comes over as a fantastic captain - Beckhams nothing like him
deadratinmycider
When I watch Michael Vaughan in interviews he comes over as a fantastic captain - Beckhams nothing like him ← Yeah that's how a captain should sound, comfortable with interviews and intelligent. Beckham just sounds stupid and every other word is "ya know"!!!!
The Batman
I think the 20-20 games have helped cricket gain more recognition over the last few years, and of course, that game suits Flintoff down to a T. It's just such entertainment to see someone hit so many boundaries, it can be boring, but i've grown up watching games on TV. I was hoping to see Gloustershire in the C&G final this year, but i was not back from holiday, did anyone here go???
