Stylus Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 In my opinion Robbo played brilliantly yesterday and was unlucky not to score more than the one. He got in good positions and made some well timed runs. I was pleasantly surprised on how Robbo scored his goal, accuracy instead of power for once. cider head Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 roberts is a top chap with the subbers and his abuse is un called for, ok he will miss more than he will score but he gives 100% when he plays, but remember when he does score it is in vital and memorable games, vs cardiff, mansfield, hartlepool. it is not just about his scoring of goals but his pace pulls defenders away and makes space for others, i've noticed his over lapping with murray at times and it leaves the left back foxed as who he should be marking, very clever. some should get off his back and just support him and the rest as now were on a roll the last thing we need is to de-rail it by knocking confidence.
