They were dreadful, and other than the odd spirited non league team I'm struggling to think of a team that has been so inept at all aspects of the game. Percy Parrot Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 I think I have seen worse, yes. I actually thought the Notts Co team last season were worse when we ran out 5-0 winners. They had better reason- the club was in a mess, players had to wait until the very last minute to be cleared to play, the coach was late etc etc- BUT they offered NOTHING at all. At least Stockport threatened in the box and Beckett had a great chance to make it 2-1 in the first half. But they were very poor and I think they will get relegated- probably with the teams that are already down there- Torquay and Franchise Dons. I don't know what state Blackpool are in and why they are there. Two years ago I would have tipped them to be pushing for promotion this season. Maybe they will stay down there too. I don't know.
