One Team Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 I noticed (with horror) when looking at the division two table this morning we're as close to relegation as we are to winning the Championhip. 10 points behind QPR, 11 points above Notts County and Posh. One thing I always like to look at as I carry on this season in compelte blind-faith that something will change is how many games on the trot we would need to win to average 2 points per game (historically the figure needed for auto-promotion). Hard going, especially when you consider that when you reach the point you still need to get 4 points from every 2 games, however, necessary to aviod the lottery play-off. Anyway, current figure is 11 games on the trot (only a few weeks ago it was 6); taking us to 32 games played. And there are people who still believe we can get auto-promotion this season.
