May he rest in peace. Johnny passed away on Wednesday, September 15 at 3:03 pm at his home in Los Angeles, California. Hail Johnny

Guest Harry May
For those of you like EDR who did n't know who Johnny Ramone was. He played Guitar in The Ramones.Without The Ramones there would n't have been punk rock. They were playing before The Pistols , The Damned , The Clash , SLF - everyone. They were the catalyst that ignited punk. You would n't have bands like Greenday ,The Bronx ,Amen, Blink 182 etc. They laid the foundations for others to build on. Seen them twice back in the 80s .Inspiring and brilliant. Seen Marky Ramone back in the spring of this year - he said Johnny was very ill even then.He done well to fight it this long.
