Stoke_Gifford_Red
Today we defended better against set-pieces, with only teh one from the fre-kick going in (and the disallowed goal), despite the PREMIERSHIP team having lots of corners/free-kicks and having a lot of height. BlokeCDP
You are joking? ureds ← Got to agree. Soft goal to concede and never looked totally comfortable with Set Pieces, but the guys are making progress (I think).

Jimbob
Sorry but our defending tonight from set pieces was very poor, premiership or not you have got to be able to mark players effectively. Overall we were superb but to say we have made strides with our defending of set pieces is very premature indeed.
wesco
corners still weren't great and the short ones ended up going back to the half way line but otherwise good

tinman-is-god
conceded two from set pieces and maybe three on another day plus steve phillips producing heroics off of countless corners....were u watching the game mate our defending from set plays tonight was the only fault on an otherwise superb performance

Guest simmos the gaffer
Despite having one of the best defensive records last season a lot of the goals conceded were from set pieces and we have continued that into this season. It makes you wonder what Millen and Taylor do in training! You'd have thought with guys like these (ball winning centre backs)involved we would have made some progress. We need to do all we can to get rid of this achilles heel as it will cost us games. The only plus point is that it will raise Steve Phillips value as he will continue to get plenty of chances to pull off saves like he did last night (although i'd much rather he had ethel to do)! Come on Millen earn your corn!
Swindon Hater
Everytime they had a corner I hated it, but then again credit to Everton, every corner was superb quality.
