I spend a quite lot of time in Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong and they are utterly mad for it! Malaysia expecially has what can only be describe as mad fanatics, in KL there are about 20 dedicated football bars, mostly Man U & Liverpool and a few of them are almost as big as the Mall at Cribbs! You can look anywhere without at least 50% of all men wearing footy tops, sadly most of them Man U, Liverpool, Real etc. There is a good football bar off Petaling St in KL, (if anyone knows it?) the walls are covered in football shirts, counted 2 Citys shirts and zero Rovers shirts out of about 500 haha! Its funny as hell reading the Sun in Malaysia, as an Islamic country (yes it is!) there is serious censorship, this deems the Sun utterly unreadable but the footy pages are mostly untouched.
