Bat Fastard
When Benny was ushered out of the club we lost our best chance for developing our young academy players into stars of the future. Now is the time to bring Benny back to Ashton Gate and make him Academy Director. He could also use his considerable experience to help Danny - maybe as part time director of football. He never had a fair chance and City have missed out on his undoubted talent as a result. :Costumed19:
Calculus
.. but we've lost around £8m in the last three years alone. Much as I liked Benny, the last thing we need is another salary, or does this plan include sacking Fawthrop or any other of the coaches?
Guest Withnail
I would agree, but I think finances would hold us back. Benny can't have come cheaply, as he's managed at a very high level, and when you add his salary to Wilson and Barlow's undoubtedly hefty earnings, it does not make sense. We only need look across the city to see our nearest neighbours axing their assistant manager in a cost-cutting exercise, and we already have more than enough non-playing staff as it is. Nice idea though, maybe after our promotion we could afford it! EDIT: Sorry guys, me and Calculus posted similar things at the same time!
