In other words, take a 1-0 lead and just hang on to it. I've just watched that game away in Azerbaijan and I was soooooooooooooo bored. Is it just me or does anybody else feel the same? Presumably no customs on Nothing to Declare again? Anyway, it was a poor performance, however, it was a job done. I support the Mourinho/Sven way of thinking; solid platform and defend from the front. Sven knows there is enough natural talent in the team to create chances without going all out to destroy the opposition. The paper will batter them tomorrow no doubt because it wasn't 3 or 4 goals.
