Red under the bed
Taken from KK Dons Site ***************************************************************************** ROSS REMAINS LDV REF Joe Ross will take charge of tonight's LDV Vans Trophy Second Round Tie at Bristol City despite the recent controversy at Luton Town. The London-born Ross refereed Luton's 4-0 drubbing of Bradford City at Kenilworth Road on Saturday, but there were scenes of chaos at the final whistle when he dismissed Bantams striker Dean Windass for a second bookable offence. Bradford allege Ross incited their players by holding four fingers up to denote the final scoreline. "One he had blown the whistle the referee taunted our players by saying 'four-nil, four-nil." Bantams boss Colin Todd told bradfordcityfc.co.uk. "He even raised four fingers indicating the number of goals." The Bantams say they will be consulting the Football League and the FA before making a formal complaint regarding Ross' actions. The Yorkshire club also claim Winsas' red card has now been rescinded, though the FA has refused to comment. In the meantime, Ross is preparing to take charge of tonight's game against the Robins at Ashton Gate tonight. So far this season Ross has taken charge of 12 games, cautioning 33 players and sending off four, including two in our game at home to Hartlepool, Izale McLeod and Pools midfielder Anthony Sweeney. *************************************************************************** I wonder how he will perform tonight ?
