Desso
Leroy has been brilliant this season as our "Johnny on the spot", something we have been lacking for seasons, but let's not forget the role that Scott Murray has played in a lot of Leroy's goals. Whilst not the prolific scorer he used to be, Scott's number of assists this season is probably more than ever before. If you notice, a lot of crosses from both sides, and particularly the right, are now are of the hard and low variety, something they have obviously agreed to do in training, confident that we now have someone to get on the end of them. In previous seasons we've all seen the continuous chances being missed by our inept "strikers" I think that Leroy would be the first to admit that without Scott's signifigant contribution, the goals would not be so forthcoming. Oh happy days!

deadratinmycider
Quite right too!! It's unfair to rate Scotty just on his goalscoring record, he is a winger after all. His crossing has been brilliant this season, especially at home. The cross for Leroy's 1st goal on Saturday was perfect and he but some beauties over in the 2nd half too. Scotty has been back to his best after an indifferent start to the campaign, he just keeps running and running and is a real asset in the 2nd half when the defenders are tired.
