gater2
If we beat Luton on saturday, it will be all 3 of the 'runaway' leaders who we'll have beaten, and in my book this sounds very familiar to last season. in season 2003-4 we played the other teams from the top 6 13 times, only losing once (obviously playoff final), including no losses in the league, but our record against the bottom teams was pretty poor (1 point off the bottom team Wycombe for example). I suppose my point is that it is frustrating that we have not developped from the inconsistancy of last year. It is of course annoying that we have the potential to beat Plymouth away one week and then draw to Wycombe at home the next (last year's example), or outclass both Tranmere and Hull at home, but then draw on the very same pitch to Colchester. I know poor performances are part of football and even Arsenal drew at home to WBA, but I seem to feel we do it more than most...
