Anyone got any suggestions? Needless to say it has to be cheap!! Also whats your experiences of it? Things to do, places to go etc etc..... I think it was booked through a hotel booking website called eurocheapo (or similar) and cost somewhere in the region of £50 a night for a double room with continental breakfast. If you are going with Mrs BRR then stear clear of the red light district. Its a really seady place, and the site of fat women sat in their undies, in shop windows did nowt for me. If you need to catch up on the footie news then look out for a large Irish Bar that shows everything. Unfortunately its name escapes me. Cheers, KNR. We went to costa blanca last year. I've found flights for £50 each, a villa for £125 for a week and hire car for £70 for the week. Therefore £150 each for the whole holiday, seems good value to me. If anyone has been there with the missus rather then with mates and stayed in anywhere nice but cheap then let me know!! Loads of art etc. I'd definately miss out the Heineken brewery tour. Very boring and only a short amount of drinking time at the end. Go to the Smiles Brewery, much better. Also I would go around the red light district. It's interesting. It is seedy but it's an experience and having a girlfriend with you should save you from any unwanted advances. Well you can dream cant you. ps, introduce her to 2 ladies if you want, lots of variety in Amsterdam i hear. I hear Prague and City Road are similar to Amsterdam, being honest you are safer getting a plane out of City Road, you can drive safely through Amsterdam and Prague.
