i_am_red Posted December 23, 2004 Report Share Posted December 23, 2004 I signed Jim when I was in the Championship and he is a key figure now in my Premiership team, I play him out on the left wing and he keeps Laurent Robert and Freddy Adu out of the team. I got him on a free at the start of my 3rd season (2nd one in the Championship), have to pay him £5,000 a week but he's worth it. Currently 3rd in the league after 22 games. I'm 4 points off that prized 2nd position. I'm turning down offers left, right and centre for Adu as teams keep making unrealistic offers. He's worth £6M now but all I get offered is about £2.5M plus a 50% sell on clause. I think I'll gamble and reject the offers in the hope that he helps me reach the Premiership and stays.
