Claverham_Red
just imagine. its the year 2008 bristol city are in the fa cup final in front of 45,000 city fans in a packed wembley stadium then we score and win and the fans go wild. just a thought though as it will never happen unless we get a new billionaire to take over and take us all the way to the premiership! elhombrecito
45,000 fans we will bring more supporters than that And they would fit where exactly?
elhombrecito
I think for FA cup finals, the actual finalists only get somewhere around 19 - 20'000 tickets each. All the premiership clubs get 1'000 tickets each and then a few are given to each of the lower league clubs... and then all the corporate big wigs etc.. My point precisely. openEnd
Don't they give tickets to amateur teams too? Many moons ago, I remember my dads club raffling a pair of FA Cup Final tickets every season.

Aussiedoyle
I worked for Multiplex the Aussie company building Wembley and can tell you that the two towers were demolished. Some stadium parts including parts of the arches have been saved and bought by a bloke who is going to open a museum to the old stadium nearby. The amazing thing about it is the arch which will actually hold up the roof structure and not be just for decoration!
