Perhaps I could have added this to one of the other numerous threads about the guy, but I have just been thinking about the situation from his point of view.

He got a lot of the criticism from the crowd especially against Hartlepool for not being able to make a worthwhile pass forward. Probably fair to an extent, but as I said at the time making telling passes is not his job and he shouldered the blame for our uineffective midfield whose job it is.

So then two 1st division clubs come knocking while he still has that criticism ringing in his ears......... Surely it is only human nature to be interested?

I also wonder what he may feel like if he turns them down, and the next home game the situation is the same.
