Northern Red Posted January 11, 2005 Report Share Posted January 11, 2005 Due to being unable to get to home matches, and only the odd away, I haven't seen that much of him, but every time I have I've been very impressed. A proper target man, who can actually win the ball in the air, hold it up and always carries a threat. With him in the team instead of Peacock, I think we look far more potent, and when we have to resort to hoofing the ball up the pitch (as we did for some time tonight) we don't seem to have the ball coming straight back at us so quickly. On another note, any idea on the official figure for the away attendance? I was in the main stand (with Tranmere supporting relatives, that made the result even better ) and I would estimate that no more than 150 had made the trip.
