madmax
Got to feel sorry for all those in Carlisle along with everyone associated with Carlisle United FC. They have today been allowed back into the stadium to survey the damage and it's not good. With us being so close to a river it could so easily be us one day. Here is a link with photo's. http://www.carlisleunited.premiumtv.co.uk/...,,10361,00.html MM

( It didn't just affect Ashton, a large part of Bristol and Somerset was underwater some info. In the bowling club (Duckmoor road behind the Dolman stand) there is a picture and the water level was approx 6 or 7 feet higher than their car park. The little stream at the back of our house flooded the houses at the bottom of the road (Whitchurch), the bridge over the river Avon at Keynsham got swept away and there are lots more tales of damage.
