Second season as City - 2nd in the Championship. Third season as City - finish 11th in Premiership. Fourth season as City - In January I was in 16th, close to relegation but unlikely to go down - GOT SACKED!! If Tinman did what I did we would be campaigning to make him Sir Tinman. UNBELIEVABLE!! jimmyb Posted January 22, 2005 Report Share Posted January 22, 2005 I got sacked by city on CM 03/04 having a) got out of div 2 in first year via the play offs b) then won div 1 in first season by a country mile - oh and won the FA Cup!! c) Finished 9th in first season in prem - 3rd round UEFA Cup d) Was 14th in second season with 2 games to go and in the FA Cup Final - and hey ho got the sack!!
