For **** sake one bad season and you want him out,  disgrace,  some of you on this forum are never happy unless there is a player to pick on and now it seems to be Toms turn, yet when he goes you will then be ******* moaning about Tinnion selling all the Bristol born players,  you cant have it both ways I'm afraid.

All Tommy has to do is get fit and play a few games for 90 minutes like his old self. Not a great deal to ask surely? We've been waiting for it all season.

How many FULL seasons has Doherty actually put in for the club then? If you look at the numbers, he averages less than 30 games a season. This means that over the past nine years or so we have hardly ever had our money's worth from Tommy Doherty. Sad but true.

Everybody except the most blind of supporters knows how talented he is. Unfortunately some people in life don't make the most of their talent. A few appearances for Northern Ireland and a journeyman career (so far) in the third division is a very poor return for someone as talented as Doherty.

As for Bristol players, it really doesn't bother me where they are born as long as they are good enough. I would rather see a team of non-Bristolians giving it their all for the cause with City in the Premiership rather than half a team of Bristolians in division three deciding they don't like the manager and not giving a flying ***k.

you say one bad season like its no big deal???

One bad game then yea sure, but one bad season doesnt happen often unless you do not want to play for this club which is looking like Tommy doesnt.

And anyway why should we just sit and accept that hes having a bad season and carry on watching his pathetic perfomances when he can be arsed to play?

good job we did not all have this attitude back in 94 or whenever it was when tinnion was having a rubbish season is'nt it? llok how he came through it, twice the player. Give Tommy a break or he will go and we will be the only losers.

He's been playing for City for 8+ seasons now and all of them have been marked to a greater or lesser extent by prolonged absences. In a couple he barely appeared at all. It would be interesting to know how many times in all those years he has made 10 appearances in a row.

You talk about giving Tommy a break, yet the present situation is a culmination of many inexpliccably bad periods for him at the club. It's hard to believe he hasn't had many warnings in the past, whether it be on discipline, attitude or fitness. Its like Groundhog Day with him, nothing seems to change. Successive managers and particularly the fans have been incredibly patient and with the same old antics repeated yet again this season that patience has apparently finally run out.
