Our last 16 matches. P16-W3-D7-L6-GF16-GA20...Add to that just 6 points from our 7 games. We have averaged just 1 goal a match in almost 3 and a half months, with Lita managing just 4 in that same period as our top scorer. We cannot win points without goals. Clearly our biggest problem and we seem to be knee deep with internal turmoil, instead of focusing on our goal scoring. The revenue the club will lose must concern SL, recent cost cutting measures indicate that this season is already written off and next season is being assessed. Fans are unhappy, season ticket sales will be down, and current matches are attracting fewer paying customers. The concern to me , is the squad. Without a good one we cannot hope to compete next season, and who will want to stay under the current administration. Its perform well, or we tell the media and ruin your career. Thats being forced to play under threat, not trying to exceed through good management and encouragement. In my 61 years i have yet to see where media slagging improves the player or the image of the club. It usually breeds contempt and ill feeling, thence cliques for and against the manager. SL would have to fork out a lot of cash to fire Tins from his 3 year contract, so SL will probably have to see out the season, maybe give the situation until next Christmas to improve. One things for sure, he did not like the personal abuse from the fans at the final whistle. Next week will be a media circus due to 4 suspensions. Tins will now have to try and inspire Coles, Docherty,Wilkshire, and Gillespie. Their performance and resolve should be "interesting". You couldn't write a better plot than that, unless Goodfellow runs off with Mrs Tinnion, well perhaps thats over the top. Fellow fans i feel for you all, but there is always another sunrise.

The points about 16 goals in our last 16 games, and 6 points from our last 7 games shows the following. We consistantly play to a 2 man forward line Brooker and/or Lita/Heffs. Many in the forum say they get poor service. Easy explained. No wing service from the completely out of form Murray, and no left wing service at all. Wilks/Brown/Goody, have all played cut in to the center style, with no flank and cross style. No creative center midfield play, not from Orr/Doc/Dinning/Tinnion, and Wilks has rarely been played there. Like wise Gillespie, creative with a good touch, sent to Cheltenham or benched. Oh well, next season coming soon.

With the suspensions, you may get your wish, Tins has very few options, so Wilks and Gilly may well get a creative run from the center....be interesting.
