Portishead Puffin
I could write something so long that noone would bother reading it, I'd probably get bored writing it. So I am going to make the points over the next few days instead. Just for starters. I have no problem with a side changing it's formation to try to counteract opponents tactics but.... Surely the players should be practising each formation so they know their roles in it. It was patently obvious that when we changed the formation people didn't know where to go, who they were picking up when defending etc. How many players on the pitch did we see walking around talking to eachother, shrugging their shoulders looking for clues? My main complaint for 99% of the season has been this apparent lack of direction, after last night it is even more evident.
