Bristol Boy
I've given up predicting what Tins team will be and it'll be a geat shame if SL has to act after 3/4 more performances like last night. Tins was a stalwart for us as a player and I for one will be sad if it doesn't work out and his time at City ends with the sack. With Smith,Tinnion, Orr & Dinning all suspended, plus six out on loan, I just hope that flu and injuries don't strike. CF limped off, so we'll have to hope that he makes it and that Tins play's him as a centre back in a balanced team with attacking options on the bench. 3-5-2 ..............................Phillips....................................... ...............Coles...........Ireland.............Fortune.................... Guest taipan
maybe even give Goldbourne a chance to see what he can do at left back?????? ← He's too young. I'd support BB's second team, the 442, with the exception that Bell would be dropped if Fortune is fit.

Bristol Boy
I prefer 3-5-2, but not Carey in midfield again please :Fume: ← It's a choice at RWB between: Carey:Played there for Coventry in 20+ games this season. In form and fit. Murray:Out of form and not even a good defender. Coles:Out of form and useless going forward. Who would you choose?
fRed
You could have Goodfellow at RWB. Phillips Carey Ireland Fortune Goodfellow Brown Doherty Wilkshire Bell Lita Heff/Brooker

myol'man
maybe even give Goldbourne a chance to see what he can do at left back?????? ← He's just a kid who shouldn't even sniff the first team for at least a year. Rednready
B Boy, either team from a limited selection process, but no Bell , no way, not ever again in a starting line up. Done nothing for months....nothing.... Bells only headline was missing a penalty at Blackpool.Fortune has made covering tackles in the last few games that Bell would not and could not get within yards of. Brown at right midfield where he scored 2 from tuesday before last. Could play an attacking Gilly in the hole, or Goody on left. Its all or nothing now, no use thinking defence. Phillips, Carey-Ireland-Fortune, Brown-Doc-Gilly-Wilks-Goody, Brooker-Lita.

Recall Woodman , he was first choice left back at the start of the season. ← Woodman cant be called back from Torquay this season. Last week he was on the bench and not used. Called back this week due to injury of another player. Tins slagged him in the media and shipped him out. Unlikely Woodman would play for Tinman

sbl800
As city are not going anywhere this season just as well start experimenting with the team. I think Colchester will win whatever happens.......

Slave to the rhythm
Woodmans out for a season and can't be recalled. ← And after the way the manager publicly slagged him off at the AGM (for the unforgivable crime of being "a quiet lad"), why would Woodman want to come back and play for us anyway? Phillips, Carey-Ireland-Fortune, Brown-Doc-Gilly-Wilks-Goody, Brooker-Lita. ← The covering tackles CF's made have been brilliant. The problem is that's he's needed to make them because he was out of position in the first place, because he's a centre back and not a left back. Unfortuneately, when we lost Woodman for a season because of a Tinnion temper tantrum, we had Bell & Hill who could play left back although MH was also a better central defender. Now if Bell's injured and we need to play a 3-5-2, it would be Coles-Carey-Ireland, with CF at LB, where he offers nothing gooing forward and doesn't like playing. So, I expect to see CF at LB at Colchester
