robins72 Posted February 15, 2005 Report Share Posted February 15, 2005 I've been searching through some football books (sad I know) but came across a book called The Wit and Wisdom of Football.It shows quotes from many managers gone by and tv pundits and on page 92 I came across a quote from Danny Wilson. Wonder what season this was used in?? "There were no hiding places out there, and I had players putting their family jewels in front of the ball". Perhaps Tinnion should use some of Dannys quotes to motivate the players. It worked for DW so maybe Tinman??What do you think could be used for Saturday for the start of a winning run for the boys in red??? After all if the players thought their wages were on it maybe they would play??? Hmm May be not then Incidently on the next page is Ian Holloways best looking bird in the taxi quote which was hilarously shown on sky last season. A mighty good read!
