screech Posted January 1, 2004 Report Share Posted January 1, 2004 Goodfellow sounds like too much of a gamble at this stage of the season, Stoke must be laughing their heads off that they are able to screw 150000 off us when he's available for nowt in the summer, if Wilson wants him i would suggest a loan of a month so he can watch him more closely, seems madness were spending this sort of money when you consider QPR paid 50000 for Thorpe. The kid sounds like he doesn't possess anything we don't already have in our first team or reserves so why not go for a proven player on loan, Wilson shouldn't need to be spending out on players when we have spent half a million already this year, I'm surprised Steve L would offer him more money on an already expensively assembled side.
