I'm sat in one of the new Debenture seats in the East End Stand, Block D Row R to be precise. Anyone else sat near me? Looks like the match isn't until 2016 though! Guest smarty Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 Well I qued up for 10 hours yesterday to get my ticket, there was no food or drink to be had, people were pushing in, the stewards didn't have a clue and when i complained CS said we have had some problems but tomorrow even better seats will be on sale and at half the price, you should have waited. This new stand will be called the Wedlock still. If they are going to name it after a tatty pub why not the Hire-rite Ship and Castle Stand? I'm a bit concerned about the validity of this ticket as the shadow printing distinctly states 2004. However, it might be worth going for because if City fail to make it to the Premiership and do not play Chelsea on the 1st of May 2016, I may be able to litigate against them for breach of contract. No, no knowing my luck, having forked out £5875, on yet another chase for happiness City will probably end up playing Chelsea on this date, the 2 divisions higher having been renamed The Superb Premiership and The Fantastic Premiership and Chelsea having a lean 10 years after their chairman was bankrupted for money laundering in Kamatchatkia!
