Easy and cheap as chips ← If I'm going from Newport back across to Swindon, surely the logical route would be to go from there to Didcot Parkway and make my way down to Westbury before going to Castle Cary? Doing it your way you will only get about 18 minutes to change at Didcot, Hardly enough time to finish a charcoal sketch of the power plant. My way gives you a full 90 minutes in Newport. Hard to compete with that by any measure.

However, you're under-estimating my charcoal sketching ability. 18 minutes gives me sufficient time to do the sketch, buy a coffee and verbally abuse an on-looking chav from the station platform. I don't want to brag about it though.
