slartibartfast
I see Rovers have had planning perm. turned down on new B/thorne stand, shame! But the thing that amazed me was the price, £2m for a stand bigger than our new one but £5m CHEAPER. What was it going to be made of, ply-wood? Could be handy as it can be 'deflated' dependant on the number of away fans or hired out for kids parties. Cheap as well because they are the gas and can inflate it themselves. City Rocker
I see Rovers have had planning perm. turned down on new B/thorne stand, shame! Oh dear. I didn't think the Planning Committee would take seriously my objection on the grounds of "excessive crowd noise". I guess irony's lost on some people. Ah well, never mind, eh

Mabbutts-Perm
The planning committee will turn permission down for this new stand - the fundamental flaw in the design is that the seats are facing the pitch

Will-Gas
For one, I'm acctually quite glad that it is staying standing only, for another season. It makes for a better atomsphere.
Guest Were dreamers
In fact its been deferred until April, not turned down.(Rovers Stand) What I would like to know is where the hell City's board 'THINK' that can fund the new East End. Its all going to go pear shaped again, remember 1982 ltd, I can, I was there when it happened - no money for players tinman in charge, old journeymen arriving at the gate, and another patchy performance at the weekend. Look out Yeovil and Macclesfield were the big boys arent we, but can we live up to it
