SteveL has stated that City are amongst the highest payers in the division. Why so? With a squad largely based on Academy graduates City should be looking to keep wages down - at least until they are approching 24 and have really proved themselves. Joe Keith is looking for a new club. A very slight increase on Colchester's wages should suffice in securing him. If he wants alot more, perhaps he should be told to try his luck elsewhere.
