Port Said Red
I heard the Gould one on radio5 this morning giving his views on the Bowyer/Dyer affair. He had some things to say on how these things should be dealt with and handled etc. Sadly, he was unable to find time to describe how a similar situation was handled by Alan Dicks, after Gerry Gow punched the aforementioned Mr Gould in front of a stunned Ashton Gate crowd. Unlike the current incident, the attackee was the one who was moved on in quick time......

Old Dazzler
The word at the time was that Bobby Gould walked into Alan Dicks's office on the Monday after the game and said "either he goes or I go" to which AD (in classic Basil Fawlty "Basil the Rat" style) shook his hand and said "well, goodbye then"
