DANNY Posted April 6, 2005 Report Share Posted April 6, 2005 We had five different players take corners or free kicks last night I counted,Bell,keith,brown,doherty and cotterill.If by April you haven't managed to get one or two regular kick takers you have got serious problems.The amount of corners and free kicks we had in good postions last night that we wasted by not having a decent taker was a joke.Surly Tinnion if nothing else knows how to cross a ball and could show someone how to do it. Red Cloud Posted April 6, 2005 Report Share Posted April 6, 2005 we are & have been for years abysmal at any dead ball situations.Our corners are usually hit too low, too long or taken short & end up giving the ball away or passing back to the defence.When was the last time Mickey Bell scored from a free kick? but he still takes them!Throwins! why does on one ever seem to want the ball?None of this is new & hopefully one day BT will realise that these sistuation are supposed to give us an advantage not the opposition!
