Andre_The_Giant
Bristol City were formed in 1894 and turned professional in 1997. So our centenary year was in 1994. We celebrated the centenary season in 1996/1997, and a centenary of league football at home to Blackpool a couple of seasons ago. Now we have a new shirt based on 100 years at Ashton Gate. Surely you can only have one centenary, not however many you like based on where we've played/ who we've played etc. BS4

Port Said Red
Bristol City were formed in 1894 and turned professional in 1997. Really? The only amateur side to reach the 1st division twice then, now that should be commemorated.
bs3
1897 was when Bristol southend and bedminster merged to form Bcfc. BSE was formed in 1894 and played at the robs ground in st.johns lane. 1904 is was they moved to Ashton gate thus its a celebration of 100 years of football at the gate. BS3_RED
After bedminster and bristol south end merged, they alternated thier home game between robs and AG. Then they decided to move full time to AG because it had an iron stand.
